“IT SHOULDN’T HURT TO BE A CHILD”

or  or

Each year nearly 3,000,000 cases of child abuse are reported in the United States with a similar number of cases estimated to be unreported each year.   Child abuse is being reported in physical, verbal and sexual situations.

The National Exchange Club adopted the “Prevention of Child Abuse” as its national project in 1979.   The National Exchange Club supports over 100 Child Abuse Prevention Centers throughout the United States.

The Valley of the Sun Exchange Clubs Foundation was founded and chartered in Arizona on July 1, 2004.  A short time later, the United States Internal Revenue Service granted the foundation a 501 (c) (3) charitable foundation status for the purpose of raising revenue to assist in an effort to prevent child abuse in the valley of the sun.

The major fund raiser currently is the “9/11 Memorial Healing Field”.   For more information on this or to make a donation, please click on the index at the top of this page.
